Shipping & Delivery
The Silk is based in the USA and ships USPS domestically within the United States and internationally to all countries. The delivery timing varies and is subject to custom clearances and various postal services in any given country. Accordingly, The Silk is not responsible for customs clearances as well as postal service timings and availabilities. The Silk is also not able to control customs clearances, duties and taxes charged by a given country. International duties, taxes and any costs for entering a country are the customer’s responsibility.

We will do our best to meet these shipping estimates, but cannot guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose.
Express shipping is available. Pricing is based on the weight of the order and given address once items are checkout and paid. Express shipping methods are UPS, USPS and Fed Ex. The Silk cannot be responsible for delays in Express shipments within individual Express carriers. Express shipping is not available for monogrammed items.
Shipping confirmations including tracking numbers are emailed when orders have been shipped. The Silk cannot be responsible for any lost or stolen shipments. The Silk is not responsible for items damaged during shipping or upon opening. Insurance is provided on Express shipments only. To add insurance to a shipment, please select the Express shipping option.Should an incorrect item have been shipped in error, please notify us within two business days of receipt. In the rare case an item is received damaged, defective or with any irregularity a written notification must be provided to Plum Pretty Sugar within two days of customer receipt. The Silk is not responsible for any damage or defect caused during shipment opening, wearing, washing, dry cleaning, or otherwise similar nor any irregularities not reported within the two day window.

Cancellations, Returns & Exchanges:
The Silk does not allow for cancellations.
The Silk gladly accept returns and exchanges. Exchanged and returned items are offered only within 14 days for all items and must be shipped back within 30 days of delivery. In order for an exchange or a return to be processed, items must be full-priced items, received in their original, unworn and unused condition and enclosed in the original packaging. In the event an item arrives in a condition where it cannot be resold, the item will not be issued a store credit or for refund. Eligible exchanges are issued using online store credit.
The Silk does not accept exchanges or returns due to the nature of the items, unless in the rare case products arrive damaged or defective. The following items cannot be processed for exchanges nor returns:
– Custom or personalized orders
– Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
– Items on sale (all Sale items are FINAL and may not be exchanged nor returned)
Customers are responsible for the return and exchange shipping and any handling charges or duties. In the event that an exchange is lost in transit, The Silk cannot be held liable and therefore recommends all exchanges be shipped with third party tracking. Please allow seven business days for a store credit to be issued once your items arrive at our location for an eligible exchange or return. Shipping and gift wrap fees are non-refundable. Promotions, codes or offers are not valid or applicable on exchanges or returns. Store credits are not redeemable for cash; and cash will not be given for unused balances.

Out of Stock:
In the rare instance a fabric selection or item becomes unexpectedly sold out, The Silk will be in contact within 1-2 business days from the date of order. Orders that contain out of stock items will be shipped complete when the out of stock items are available.
Receipt of Goods:
Should an incorrect item have been shipped in error, please notify us within two business days of receipt. In the rare case an item is received damaged, defective or with any irregularity, a written notification must be provided to The Silk within two days of customer receipt. We are not responsible for any damage or defect caused during shipment opening, wearing, washing, or dry cleaning nor any irregularities not reported within the two day window.
Gift Card Purchases and Store Credit:
Gift card purchases or store credit cannot be redeemable for cash; and cash will not be given for unused balances.
The Silk will only use your shipping and billing address, contact information, and personal information for:
– Communication with you about your order
– Fulfillment of your order
– Legal reasons (like paying taxes)
– Providing and improving our Site,.
